STEVEN G. GERBINO, MBA, MSFS

     Steve Gerbino is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Master of Business Administration degree, a graduate of The Institute of Business and Finance with a Master of Science degree in Financial Services, and a graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Lehigh Carbon Community College and has completed continuing education financial courses at The American College of Financial Services.  

     Steve started out working in the fitness world.  While completing his degree in sports management he worked in both the commercial fitness industry and the corporate fitness industry.  He was certified by two organizations to be a personal trainer.  He created workout routines for members, demonstrated how to complete the exercises, taught fitness classes, and helped supervise the free-weight area of the gyms he worked at.  He worked with high school, college, professional and Olympic athletes.
     His work experience in the business field consists of having been a business consultant, business owner and college professor. As a business consultant he specialized in preparing business plans for existing and pre-venture small business owners and entrepreneurs.   For fifteen years Steve was a business owner in the financial services industry until he sold his ownership stake to three companies.   He provided his clients with services in retirement and financial planning, insurances, income tax preparation as well as accounting and consulting services to small business owners.   
     Steve has been a college professor for over twenty years teaching courses in introduction to economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, economic geography, personal finance, business finance, investments, financial markets and institutions, small business management, entrepreneurship, introduction to business, survey of business principles, management fundamentals and career management.   He has taught at universities, private colleges, community colleges and technical schools.  In the education field he has served on advisory councils at various academic institutions and has also worked on a specialized college grant program which provided personal finance education and a grant to qualified students.
