Melissa is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Master of Public Administration degree, a graduate of Drexel University with a Graduate Certificate of Student Development and Affairs Program, and a graduate of Chestnut Hill College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.   She also holds an Associate of Science degree from Montgomery County Community College.

"You can't start the NEXT chapter in your life, if you keep re-reading the last one."

She has a very diverse work career, primarily focusing on government and education with a passion for small business.  During her early college years, she started a pet and house-sitting business to help cover her college expenses.  Then she went into the education field as a substitute teacher for grades kindergarten through ninth, and also worked in the pre-school classroom, while baby-sitting in between.  She also worked in federal government, state government, and in local government.  Now, her career has taken her back into education at a local community college while establishing her RexRacer brands.

Melissa's work experience has also included stops in the retail industry and also the medical field.  She gained valuable insight into the service industry while working for two different national franchises.  Her love of animals led her to begin her early working experience as a veterinary technician.  The merging of these experiences led to her creation of the RexRacer Customs brand and RexRacer Media.  Named after two of her beloved felines, this brand focuses on custom products such as decals, ornaments, mugs, tumblers, t-shirts, hats and more.  This brand serves a niche market for people looking for customs for special events, small businesses, and for individual use.  The RexRacer Media Channel focuses on a variety of topics from crafting, gardening, decorating and of course, cats.
